Your Day and Beyond

Are you a snooper who looks through their emails or phone? The thing about snooping is, when you look for something, most of the time you will find it.  If what you find turns out to be hurtful, are you ready to deal with it? How will you deal with it? Will you calmly address it or go ballistic? That’s the thing about curiosity, it kills cats. Hopefully that cat doesn’t end up being your heart.

Now that our year of preparation is coming to an end!  It’s time to claim everything that we’ve prepared for! 2021 is our year of harvest, to reap in abundance. Our more abundant lives await us in 2021!

Being married does not make you better than your friends who aren’t married. A real friend, a true friend, respects her friend's  journey. The grass may look greener on the other side because you’re not close enough to see the weeds.  If you’re on the outside looking in, there’s no way you can know all the specific details of someone else's finances or marriage. When we count our blessings, more blessings come our way. When we focus on the things in our lives that we’re grateful for, we attract more things to be thankful for.

Sex and intimacy, no matter how great it may be pre-marriage can become a challenge post-marriage because our lives become filled with obligations and responsibilities that if left unchecked can interfere with our sex life.  Emotional and physical difficulties from our past can also put a strain on our sex lives and can be difficult to talk about but we are going to talk about it because we’re fully dedicated to having happy marriages and beautiful lives.

Having a dream wedding doesn't mean you'll have a happy marriage. No matter how much we want to believe in fairytales, happily ever after is not some magical occurrence.  It takes work to have a happy and lasting marriage and you need a plan.
